Matthias Jahnel, LL.M.

The firm was founded in Palma in 2005. Matthias Jahnel has practised as a German lawyer in Spain since 2001 and is admitted both as Rechtsanwalt in Germany and as Abogado in Spain. He has personally handled more than 1,000 property transactions for international clients.

He studied at the University of Halle-Wittenberg up to the first state examination and then completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He completed his legal traineeship before the second state examination in Saxony-Anhalt, with a focus on international law. Secondments took him to the German Embassy in New Delhi, the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Bonn office of the European Commission.

In Spain his practice concentrates on real-estate, tax and company law, with a particular focus on non-resident investors.
